Carmel Gospel Missions Independent Baptist Church is a pioneer missionary work, with its Home Church planted at Kamavarapu Kota. Kamavarapukota is the central village surrounded by 40 hamlets. The Church was started in October 2006 in a Christian house with 10 people attended for the first service. After one year we moved our services to a rented building and continued our services until 2008. From 2009 to 2011 we had our services in our own property. In 2011 we moved our services to our own building and the attendance of the church has been increased to 200 members during this span of time. Most people came from Hindu religious background have been saved and baptized. It is the only Independent Baptist Church in this village. It is our goal that everyone in this area the Gospel and should come to the saving knowledge of Lord &Saviour Jesus Christ.
As we are travelling and evangelizing in rural & tribal areas, we found a tribal village Jellugumilli which is 50 kms from our home church. We planted our 2nd church in this village in 2017 in a Christian family house. It’s a young church and now 50 people are attending for the services.

This is the part of the work where we place special emphasis, as it enables us to reach a broad spectrum of people from the different caste and creeds. Through evangelistic open air campaigns we have been successful in reaching many people throughout the villages with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also place special emphasis on street ministry and Gospel Tracks distribution.
This is an area of our work in which we take special pride. It is our vision to take care of Orphans, Semi – Orphans, Child laborers which are left out from the society. As the Lord supplies, we are taking caring of 50 children. We provide shelter, 3 meals a day and an evening snack and strive to rescue them from every dying circumstances. Of course, our main goal is to present them the Gospel in loving and caring Christian environment. It goes without saying that the work among these children is done irrespective of caste. We want to make them as better citizens for the country and above all to our Lord &Saviour Jesus Christ.
Carmel Gospel Missions actively involved in several relief works demonstrating the Love the Christ. We are helping Lepers, Day Care Center, Widows, Hiv Victims, and people who are struck with natural calamities.
