We Believe : That the Scriptures of both the Old and New Testament are Verbally inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God, that they are the Supreme and final authority for Faith and Practice. Matthew 5:18; II Timothy 3:16 ; Psalm 12:6-7.
While still using the individual writing styles of the human authors, the Holy Spirit perfectly guided them to ensure they wrote precisely what He wanted written, without error or omission. 2 Peter 1:21.
We Believe : in THE ONE TRUE GOD: who is an intelligent, sovereign, spiritual and personal Being; perfect, infinite, and eternal in His being, holiness and love, wisdom and power; absolutely separate from and above the world as its Creator, yet everywhere present in the world as the Upholder of all things. He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons but without division of nature, essence or being, and each having a distinct ministry in God’s relation to His creation and people.
We Believe : In the Deity of Jesus Christ. His Conception by the Holy Spirit, His Virgin Birth, His Sinless Life, His Death on the Cross to pay the penalty of our Sins, His Bodily Resurrection, His Exaltation at God’s right hand, and his Personal, Imminent, Pre Millennial, and Pre – tribulational return. Matt. 1:20, 23; 2 Cor. 1:21; Eph. 1:7; Luke 24:6, 39; I Tim 2:5.
We Believe : The bold shed by Jesus Christ on the Cross to be the only and all sufficient remedy for the sin of man; that this blood alone makes an atonement for the soul. Leviticus 17:11; Heb 9:22.
We Believe : IN THE HOLY SPIRIT Who is the third Person of the Trinity, and the divine Agent in nature, revelation and redemption; that He convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment; that He regenerates, indwells, seals and anoints all who become children of God through Christ; that He further empowers, guides, teaches, sanctifies and fills believers who daily surrender to Him. Using Acts 1:8 as our criteria for evaluation, we believe that the evidence of the fullness of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is boldness to witness for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
We Believe : The bold shed by Jesus Christ on the Cross to be the only and all sufficient remedy for the sin of man; that this blood alone makes an atonement for the soul. Leviticus 17:11; Heb 9:22.
We Believe : That salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Christ’s death fully accomplished justification through faith and redemption from sin. Christ died in our place and bore our sins in His own body. On the third day after His death, Jesus physically rose again, demonstrating His victory over sin and death. Ephesians; 2:8-9, Romans;5:8-9, 1 Peter;2:24, Romans 14:9.
We Believe : That salvation is received by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Good works and obedience are results of salvation, not requirements for salvation. Due to the greatness, sufficiency, and perfection of Christ’s sacrifice, all those who have truly received Christ as Savior are eternally secure in salvation, kept by God’s power, secured and sealed in Christ forever. Just as salvation cannot be earned by good works, neither does it need good works to be maintained or sustained. Good works and changed lives are the inevitable results of salvation. John 6:37-40; 10:27-30; Romans 8:1, 38-39;Ephesians 1:13-14; 1 Peter 1:5; Jude 24. James 2.
We Believe: That the Local Church is a congregation of Baptized believers, instituted for the purpose of Worship, Service, and fellowship. The local Church is an indigenous and autonomous body. We further believe in “The Church” as a living organism. It consists of all the blood-bought, born-again believers throughout the Church Age. This body of the redeemed collectively makes up the ultimate bride of Christ. Acts; 2:42; Eph; 5:21-23.
We Believe : There are two ordinances for the local church: Baptism in water (immersion) Matthew; 28:19, Acts; 10:48, and the Lord’s Supper. 1 Cor; 11:23-26. 2 Pet 1:4.
We Believe : In the imminent, Pre-tribulational, Pre-millennial, return of Christ. The Lord shall return for His Church and rapture out the Church at any given moment. The world will then enter into a seven year period of tribulation that will end with the battle of Armageddon and the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. He will come as “ King of Kings” and “ Lord of Lords,” and establish His kingdom that will last for 1000 years. The Lord will then judge the living and the dead at the Great White Throne Judgment ( Which is different from the Judgment Seat of Christ where the Lord judges the Church). After this, all the lost, satan, death and hell are cast into the lake of fire, while the Lord and His saints enter into “Eternal Bliss,”. I Thes 4:13-18; 1 Cor 15:51-58; Matt 24:3-41; Rev 19:11-21; 20:1-15; 21:1-6;
